8 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Arrival.

Our driving guide will meet you at the Pearl of Africa as soon as you land at Entebbe Airport, inform you about your 8 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari, and then transport you there so you can unwind before your next day’s activities. At the Protea Hotel, Imperial Botanical Hotel, or Airport View Guest House, have supper and spend the night.

Day 2: Mabamba Swamp Birding Excursion.

After an early breakfast, you start the 50-kilometer trip from Kampala, the capital of Uganda, to Mabamba Swamp from where you are staying in Entebbe or Kampala. A unique experience in and of itself, the trip to Mabamba offers opportunities to observe a variety of bird species, including the Papyrus Gonolek, White Shouldered Tit, Red Cap, Western Banded Snake Eagle, White Winged Warbler, White Spotted Fluf tail, and Weyns Weaver. When you get in Mabamba Swamp, you board the canoe with a local guide who has experience navigating the small waterways that are lined with lush swamp vegetation. Counts of birds, including the rare and vulnerable Shoebill stork, the Allen’s and Purple Gallinule, Grey herons, Jacanas, Ruffaus Squaco, Pallid Harrier, and Bellied Heron, may be found in Uganda’s Mabamba on Lake Victoria marsh. Other bird species, including blue swallows, ducks, and egrets, can be investigated. During the swamp trip, you might discover the Sitatunga antelope, which lives in the swamps. After your adventure, you’ll drive to Kampala, where you’ll spend the night at the Kampala Serena Hotel, Acacia Lodge, or Forest Cottages.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

The Park may be seen grazing or hunting in the Savannah grasslands. This is what makes the park’s scenery so wonderful for game driving. You may see the Big 4 there because it is the largest and oldest national park in the nation. As you get ready for your boat ride on the Nile, return to the resort for breakfast and lunch.

You will go on a boat tour in the afternoon when you will get the chance to see several herds of buffalo, crocodiles, hippos, water bird species, and other exotic creatures congregating near the River Nile to drink water. The boat will take you to the foot of the falls, where you will disembark and begin the hour-long trek to the top, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the falls, greenery, and other natural features. Day 5: Hot Air Balloon Ride – Nile Delta Cruise

Your tour guide will pick you up after an early breakfast to begin your hot air balloon safari on the Para side of Murchison Falls National Park. If you are staying along the southern bank of the River Nile, everyone will meet up at Para Lodge to begin your trek to the launch site of your balloon. You will be driven to the location where your hot air balloon safari will begin, together with the pilots and the rest of the team. You will be given the option of a cup of tea or coffee as the Balloon is put together. The pilot will then board the hot air balloon, give you a briefing, and launch your expedition. Day 6: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking – Bigodi Wetland Tour

After breakfast, you’ll be driven to the Kibale National Park’s administrative centre in Kanyanchu, where you’ll meet up with the other trekkers for an orientation and eventual chimpanzee trekking. In Kibale Forest National Park, your game ranger guide will lead you on a guided primate walk. In this forest, visitors get the chance to go to one of the chimpanzees’ habituated groups or parts and spend an hour there watching and taking pictures. Along with forest birds, Kibale National Park is home to another 13 species of primates. You will drive to Bigodi Village for a wetland walk after your chimpanzee hike, which is intended to help the neighbourhood living close to Kibale Forest National Park. Visit Papaya Safari Lodge, Chimpanzee Guest House, or Kibale Forest Camp for supper and a night’s stay.

Day 8: Return to Kampala – Departure

Following a morning meal, you will travel to Kampala before continuing to Entebbe International Airport to catch your late-afternoon flight home.
